  ok, i think the writing department has well and truly lost the plot now!.

  on page 14 of the august 15th watchtower, there is an extensive section on the perils of the internet, with the caption "do you heed bible-based warnings about the internet?

  " in large intimidating letters.

  I just found a message from a former facebook friend of mine. I guess he realized I was not a JW and gave me this guilt message and said he had to un-friend me

  I sent back a mature life is good message. He said he hopes I get over my bitterness? I told him I'm not bitter I've never been happier.....

  i was thinking (before i go buy my lottery ticket) , i have probably spent at least an hour of my time on this forum for each of those posts and not your typical kiss-me posts that some people love to fill up the forum with, either.-- 7777 hours is a lot of time and i have been reflecting on this almost eight year voyage- has it been worth it?

  for me personally, yes it has.

  i learned quite a bit about myself and how other people's thinking process works- if i knew what meds some were on, i wouldn't have wasted my time trying to convince them they aren't the messiah-.

  I have a new medical directive/record card

  my wife and i joined probus earlier this year,and we received a medical record card to fill out ( optional ) usual personal information / contacts /medical problems / medications etc.

  and comments.

  and under comments i have stated i am an organ donor,i reject jw blood doctrine.i accept all medical procedures including blood products.. i felt the need to do this since over the years ,when i was an active witness, i have needed some medical treatment,an operation whereby i made it quite plain i would not accept blood under any circumstances being a jw.

  my pain has been in remission.

  i have a morphine pump.

  pain broke through toward the end of the medication.

  Those of you in relationships, when your partner gets clingy, is it flattering, irritating? How do you deal with it?

  i'm just curious as i'm on the outside looking in when it comes to relationships, yet i recall undercover explaining to me a year or so ago on another thread how his wife was clingy one morning before he went to work.

  it made me wonder as someone who's single, what do you feel when you need to be somewhere and your significant other is clingy at the moment?

  or when your out and about and he/she is clingy, is it flattering, irritating?

  Well...... I must admit at times I become clingy.... it goes away but ya I'll follow my hubby around the house untill he gets it.... After he knows what I need I'm fine but.....

  For the most part I don't want to be or have someone that isn't happy being who they are. I like space and if you don't want to give it to me I'll make it :)

  a convention invitation.

  i came home the other day and found an invitation to the upcoming district convention in my door.

  i don't believe these are left in the doors of the general public, so a well-meaning witness must have been thinking of me, even though i have not been to the kh in about 7 years.. the leading question on the front immediately got my attention, and made my jaw drop a bit.. i thought i would ask the forum, .
